About the Studios
BKB Visual Arts Studio is an artists-run shared studio space. Founded by three former DIT Fine Art students, Emily Brennan, Gemma Brown and Bianca Kennedy. We offer a wide range of shared, private and semi-private spaces at affordable rates in the heart of Glasnevin, Dublin 11.

Emily Brennan
Emily graduated from a Bachelors degree in Fine Art at DIT in 2018 and since then has worked in the Fire Station Artists Studios to produce mostly short films with a focus on environmental issues.
Emily also has a big interest in curating exhibitions and looks forward to producing our first BKB Gallery exhibition in collaboration with our resident artists.

Gemma Brown
Also a graduate of Fine Art in DIT in 2018, Gemma went on to complete a residency at the Fire Station Artists Studios in the Sculpture workshop. Her work deals mostly with issues around gender studies through the medium of textiles and ceramics.
Gemma enjoys working in a collaborative setting and is looking forward to leading on group projects to come here at BKB.

Bianca Kennedy
Bianca was also a classmate of Gemma and Emily's in DIT and graduated with them in 2018 with a bachelors degree in Fine Art. Sine her graduation, Bianca has been part of The Black Church Print Studio producing work using the materials of print and etching.
Bianca has also facilitated a community arts module through the INOU over the past year. she hopes to bring elements of her community arts work into her role here at BKB Studios.
